INDIVIDUAL DONORS

Our individual donors are our life-blood. Not only do we depend upon their generosity, but due to the cash-flow rollercoaster that IS producing an annual festival, quite frankly, we depend upon their sense of timing! Some of them have been with us since the beginning, as you'll see below. Some of them are new friends, who either attended the festival for the first time or even found us on the internet! Our current list of donors is here and we are so grateful for their support - not only financial, but for the kind words and understanding that often accompanies their check.

In 2006, in celebration of the Tenth Anniversary of FringeNYC, we created a permanent online page recognizing everyone who made a contribution in our first decade. These are the folks who got us started, and we'll never forget them.

A very special group among our individual donors form our Producer's Circle. These are people who work in commercial theatre who have chosen to make a contribution in support of FringeNYC because they realize the value of a festival which brings 200+ playwrights, composers, lyricists, directors, music directors, designers, and thousands of actors to New York each year.

I ran into one of our very special Producer's Circle members outside our office building a few months ago and tried to find a way to appropriately thank her for her contribution to ensuring FringeNYC's survival. She said "Of course!". And I told her "No, not "of course". It's not that simple. Many can, but few do - and I'm so grateful to the big-shot Broadway folks who do."
